Lunch, snacks and drinks are not included. After being picked up at your Wakiki hotel or vacation rental, we will travel around the stunning coastal road which hugs the world famous Diamond Head crater. We will continue through Hawaii Kai around the coastal  Kalanianiole Highway, which is one of the most stunning drives in the world. We will visit unmissable spots such as Hanauma Bay, Halona Blowhole, Makapu’u Point, Waimanalo Kailua and Lanikai Beaches and secret places virtually unknown to tourists. Along the windward coast, we will pass through the beautiful ocean side villages of Ka’a’awa, Ha’aula, Puna’luu and La’ie, stopping for photos and a swims along the way in the tranquil turquoise water.

No trip to the North Shore would be complete without a stop at the world famous Romy’s Shrimp Shack in Kahuku. Their delicious local prawns and rice are smothered in a mouth watering soy and garlic sauce. If shrimp is not your thing, Ola’s Beach Bar at the picturesque Turtle Bay Resort is the perfect place to sit back, relax, watch the waves and enjoy the warm tropical breeze while having lunch and cocktails.
After lunch and cocktails we can stop at Lei Lei’s Fruit Stand where you can pick up locally grown fresh fruits such as apple bananas, pineapple, mountain apples, mangoes and papaya.
We will then travel along the world famous North Shore, also known as the Seven Mile Miracle because of it’s incredible surf break and popularity with the best surfers in the world. We will stop at Sunset Beach, which was originally made famous by the Elvis Presley movie “Blue Hawaii.” This is also the place where Gidget was taught to surf by the legendary Duke Kahanamoku.
North Shore BeachAfter leaving Sunset Beach, we will experience the always dangerous and exciting Bonzai Pipeline. This famous break is home to the Billabong Pipe Master and Volcom Pro Surfing tournaments, which are held every December and January depending on wave heights and conditions.
Our next stop will be Rock Piles Beach and then on to Shark’s Cove. Despite the name, there are no sharks in the cove and this is by far the best snorkeling and scuba diving site on the island. It is filled with tropical fish, eagle rays, monk seals, natural lava tubes and great coral structures.

Shark's CoveWe will then continue on to the world famous Waimea Bay, which has been home to The Eddie big wave surf competition since 1972. This competition is held in honor of Eddie Aikau, who was a legendary local surfer and lifeguard who lost his life trying to rescue his fellow crew members aboard the Hoku’lea traditional Polynesian sailing canoe. The competition draws the very best surfers from all over the world and only “goes” if waves are 50 feet or over. It was also featured in the film “Point Break” and the documentary “Riding Giants.”

From here we will continue on to Waialea Bay, Chun’s Reef and Lani’s Beach, where we will watch and perhaps snorkel with giant Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles, or Honu, as they are called in Hawaiian.
An under water view of Hawaiian sea turtle at Waimea Bay on the north shore of Oahu, Hawaii.
We will end our day in the quaint and historic sugar mill town of Halaiwa. This lovely island-style village is filled with surf shops, art galleries and a variety of seafood and ethnic restaurants. We will spend  time browsing through the town and enjoy a shave ice from Matsumoto and perhaps cocktail or bite to eat on the lanai of Haleiwa Joe’s. After an unforgettable day with us, we will return you to your hotel or vacation rental, passing through the lovely pineapple fields in the center of the island.
